Campus Mission

The mission of the Harrison County Alternative School is to provide a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment where students are empowered to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Through a focus on academic excellence, intentional social-emotional learning, and positive behavioral support, we prepare students to successfully transition back to their home schools. Our goal is to equip every student with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to thrive both in school and in life.

 

Campus Vision

The students at Harrison County Alternative School will complete 45 days or less while provided a safe and structured environment that is conducive to helping students overcome academic behavioral and social challenges that cannot be adequately addressed in a traditional school environment.

Campus Purpose

The Harrison County Alternative School will address behavioral, academic, and social needs of students in a non-traditional setting. Emphasis will be placed on social skills and an overview of behavioral goals, social career education, employability skills, and character.
